Yes, Yes, Yes!

I am absolutely thrilled to share that I received a long-awaited email tonight! The VMUG committee in Belgium has invited me to speak at their upcoming event on the 1st of June.

Last year, I presented on FinOps during VMUG, and the session was well-attended with very positive feedback. It was something fresh and not entirely VMware-focused, as I discussed processes, maturity, and finances—specifically, how your enterprise can potentially reduce its cloud expenses.

Over the past year, I've had conversations with IT professionals, read articles, and come across various misconceptions about what FinOps is—or, more accurately, what it isn't. It's astonishing how such a young practice has already attracted numerous myths.

This inspired me to submit a proposal for a talk titled "7 Myths About FinOps."

Of course, there are more than just seven myths, but I promise to share another seven after my presentation!
